The project’s objective is to establish a sustainable infrastructure that empowers Armenia to systematically counter disinformation and cyber threats during the 2026 parliamentary elections and in the longer term. The intended change is to move from fragmented, reactive efforts toward a professional, centralized system that ensures fact-based narratives are produced and disseminated faster and more effectively than manipulative content. At the same time, CSO, media, and activists will be equipped with robust digital security and contingency planning practices that allow them to operate without disruption.
The project will deliver:
1) An AI-driven fact-checking hub with a trained team, rapid verification tools, and outreach via micro-influencers,
2) A cybersecurity support system offering risk assessments, tailored training, secure communication, and emergency technical aid.
