The primary goal of this project is to safeguard the Armenian media environment by bolstering digital security. The key objectives include:
- Conducting comprehensive IT audits at six media outlets, followed by post-audit support to fortify their digital security measures.
- Providing incident response support to 30 media outlets and journalists to mitigate the impact of digital security incidents.
- Offering infrastructure support to six media outlets to enhance their digital security infrastructure.
- Delivering digital security training to at least 30 journalists, journalism students, and media representatives to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to safeguard their online activities.
- Publishing digital security alerts, guidance, blog-posts, threat reports to raise digital security awareness among the Armenian media and general public.
- Establishing the position of the Digital Ambassador for Armenian Media, aimed at enhancing the collaboration between Armenian media outlets and global tech organizations such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and others.
